Operation

General operations

Touch screen

Due to the touch screen, you can fulfill most 

functions not only by pressing buttons but also by touching the options you need.

Turning the unit on/off

Press the POWER Button to turn the unit on. 

When the unit is on, press the POWER Button once to turn the TFT off. During TFT off, the video out signal will be available so that the connected monitor will show the screen of the unit. Press the POWER Button again to turn the TFT back on. Press and hold the POWER button again to turn the unit off..

Reset the unit

Operating the unit for the first time or after 

replacing the car battery, you must reset the unit. Press reset button on the unit with a pointed object (such as a ballpoint pen) to set the unit to initial state.

 

  When some errors occur on the display, 

you can also press reset button to resume to normal, and it will erase the clock setting and some memorized functions.

Setting the sound characteristics

• Volume: Use the VOL +/- Button to adjust 

the volume level. Turn the button clockwise to increase the volume, and vice versa. The larger the number of volume, the higher the volume level. You can also adjust the volume by sliding the volume icon on top of the screen.

• Bass: Press the SEL Button on the RC 

until the display shows “BAS”. Use the VOL +/- Button to adjust. When EQ is ON, bass control is not available.

•  Treble: Press SEL Button on the RC until 

the display shows “TRE”. Use the VOL +/- Button to adjust. When EQ is ON, treble control is not available.

• Balance: Press SEL Button on the RC until 

the display shows “BAL”, then use the VOL +/- 

Button to adjust the balance between the left & right speakers.

• Fader: Press SEL Button on the RC until 

the display shows “FAD”, then use the VOL +/- Button to adjust the balance between the front & rear speakers.

• Other Audio Settings: You can adjust other 

audio settings like preset equalizer, loudness or subwoofer ON/OFF by tapping the “EQ” icon on the main menu, or on the control menu of other audio/video play modes.

Mute function

Press MUTE button on the RC to turn off the 

sound. Press the button again or adjust volume to resume the sound output.

Mode selection

Press the MODE Button to cycle the Play 

Modes between RADIO, BT (Bluetooth), USB, SD and AUX in.

RCA output

The RCA Output is on the back of the 

unit. (Refer to Wiring Diagram) This output is for connecting amplifier, equalizer, or other audio component that requires a pre-amp out connection. (Red=Right, White=Left) Follow the manufactures instructions for the audio component that you are connecting.

AV in jack

The Video Output Jack is on the back of the 

unit. (Refer to Wiring Diagram) This output (in yellow) is for connecting monitor(s). You must connect a monitor for car in order to play this unit in another monitor. Consult your dealer for any kinds of monitors that are suitable to use in car. 

Subwoofer

The Subwoofer Output is on the wire 

harness. (Refer to Wiring Diagram) This output is designet for connecting up to 2 subwoofers to the unit. Follow the amplifier’s installation instructions. You can turn the subwoofer on/off by pressing the icon in the main menu.

Selecting saved channels

Press cursor Buttons to select the saved 

stations up or down.

SYSTEM

To switch your television system, tap the 

SYSTEM button on the right of the screen. The sequence will be shown as follows:

PAL M => PAL N => NTSC MN => PAL I 

=>SECAM DK.

AUDIO

To switch the audio system, tap the 

AUDIO button on the right of the screen. The sequence will be shown as follows:

SECAM BG => SECAM DK

ENTER

When TV is playing, tap the screen anytime 

to come back to the TV menu. Press ENTER to resume playing.

Tap the GPS logo on the on-screen display 

to enable GPS navigation. Follow the onscreen instruction to input your destination and start navigation. The operation varies from software to software.

USB/micro SD operations

USB/SD/MMC notes

USB format supports 1.1. Capacity: up to 1 

TB.

For correct and satisfactory operation, 

licensed micro SD memory cards of famous brands should be used with this unit. Avoid using memory cards of unknown brands. Capacity: up to 32 GB.

According to the USB 1.1/2.0 Standard, 

usage of a USB device with power current 

consumption exceeding 500 mA is not recommended without supplementary power supply. Failure to use supplementary power for connected USB drives with power consumption exceeding this value as well as defective USB drives may cause mechanical or thermal changes of elements of this unit as well as failure of internal elements of the USB port. Such damages are not warrantee cases.

Warning: usage of external USB drives 

containing BIN files in the root directory may cause malfunction of the unit or damage to the software.

Inserting a micro SD card/USB device

Insert an SDmemory card into the card slot. 

Open the USB slot cover on the front panel and insert a USB into the USB slot.

HOME button

Press the HOME button during playback in 

order to see the full list of files along with file types. All the file names are displayed for your easy reference. Select the desired file types and file names by tapping on the screen.

Aspect ratio

During video playback, tap the screen or 

press the RATIO button to switch the aspect ratio of the video. On the menu you can select full screen, 16:9, and 4:3 accordingly. The viewing effect will depend on the video file so it may vary.

Play/pause

Press 

 button on the RC to pause 

playback, press it again to resume playback.

Selecting tracks

During playback press 

 button on the 

RC or on the screen to play the previous track. Press 

 button on the RC or on the screen to 

play the next track. Press number buttons (0-9) on the RC to select the desired track/chapter.

Operation

Poor effect on receiving a station.

-Antenna may not be of the proper length. Make sure the antenna isfullyextended. If broken, replace the antenna with a new one.-Thebroadcasting signal is weak.-Theantenna is poorly grounded; check and make sure the antenna isproperlygrounded at its mounting location.

No pictures

-The video line from main unit to monitor is not connected properly.(forexternal monitor)-Thepurple brake wire is not grounded or connected to brake properly.

The picture appears grainy

Operation

Rear view camera function

The rear view camera input is on the back 

of the unit. (refer to wiring diagram). This input (in yellow) is for connecting backup camera for parking. You must connect the VCC wire (in pink color) to the reverse gear switch in order to activate this video input mode when you switch the reverse gear of your car. Please refer to the wiring diagram for more details.

Pairing

Select the BT mode, then search for a 

bluetooth device with your phone. “BT Car Stereo” will appear on the phone screen. Input 0000 as password to establish connection.

Dial pad

Touch the dial pad to dial the number you 

want to call. Touch the CALL (green) button to call the number.

A2DP

Press the MUSIC button to enter the A2DP 

page to control music playback on your phone.

Reject call

Press the REJECT (red) button to end the 

call or to reject an incoming call.

Return to user interface

Touch the arrow key in the top right corner to 

return to user interface.

Radio operation

Choosing radio band

Touch the BAND button onscreen to choose 

among the five radio bands - three FM Bands (FM1, FM2, and FM3) and two AM Bands (AM1, and AM2). Each of the five bands can store up to six preset stations, for a total of 30 preset memory stations.

Radio seek function

In Radio Mode, press and hold 

/

 buttons to adjust the radio frequency 

automatically. Press the button once to adjust the radio frequency manually.

Saving presets/stations

There are six numbered preset buttons on 

the the screen (P1-P6) which can store and recall stations for each band. While listening to a radio station you would like to save as a preset, touch and hold any key from P1-P6 until you hear a beep. The station will be saved in the designated number.

Mono/Stereo

In FM radio mode, touch the ST button to 

select stereo or mono reception.

Local/Distant

In radio mode, touch the LOC button to 

select local or distance reception.

RDS control (optional)

AF, TA, PTY are the RDS functions. They 

are applicable to certain countries only. For countries when RDS is not available. The touch sensitivity of the button will be disabled.

Returning to Main User Interface

Touch the “BACK” sign in the top right hand 

corner to return to the main user interface.

TV tuner operation

SCAN

Press SCAN to seek all strong and clear 

frequency stations available and store them.

Press 

/

 buttons to seek another 

station.

Saved channels

When you reach the desired TV channels, 

they will be automatically saved for you to

•   Keep this manual handy as a reference 

for operating procedures and precautions. Do not allow persons who have not read through this manual to use this unit.

•   “CLASS 1 LASER PRODUCT”This product contains a laser diode of 

higher class than 1. Laser beams from the optical pickup are dangerous to the eyes. To ensure continued safety, do not remove any covers or attempt to gain access to the inside of the product. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.

•   Do not allow this unit to come into contact 

with liquids. Electrical shock could result. Also, damage to this unit, smoke, and overheating could result from contact with liquids or dust. Protect this unit from moisture.

•   Make sure that foreign objects do not get 

inside the unit; they may cause malfunctions, or create safety hazards such as electrical shock or laser beam exposure.

•   The beginning of operation is the moment 

of the unit installation. Before use the device in winter it is recommended to heat up the passenger compartment during 20 seconds or to the operation temperature.

•   Using the unit with the temperature that 

goes beyond the operation temperature greatly decreases the operation resource of the screen 

and other components of the unit and can result in an outage.

•   Disconnect the vehicle’s negative battery 

terminal while mounting and connecting the unit.

•   The unit is designed for negative 

terminal of the battery, which is connected to the vehicle metal. Please ensure it before installation.

•   When replacing the fuse, be sure to use 

one with an identical amperage rating. Using a fuse with a higher amperage rating may cause serious damage to the unit.

•   Do not allow the speaker wires to be 

shorted together when the unit is switched on. Otherwise it may overload or burn out the power amplifier.

•   Make sure you disconnect the power 

supply and aerial if you will not be using the system for a long period or during a thunderstorm.

•   Make sure you disconnect the power 

supply if the system appears to be working incorrectly, is making an unusual sound, has a strange smell, has smoke emitting from it or liquids have got inside it. Let a qualified technician check the system.

•   Always keep the volume low enough so 

that you can hear sounds from outside the vehicle.

•   Should this product fail to operate 

properly, contact your dealer or nearest service center.

Installation/Connection

Detachable control panel

•   To attach the front panel, insert the upper 

side of the panel first and make sure the connection pins slide into the connection slots, then press the lower part of the panel to the unit until hear a click.

•   Slant the front panel down. Press the 

release lock (in the bottom of the front panel) upward to release the front panel, and then take out the front panel by pulling it downwards and then towards you from the bottom. Once the front panel is removed, the back plate will close automatically after a few seconds and the panel status indicator will blink.

 The control panel can easily be 

damaged by shocks. After removing it, place it in a protective case and be careful not to drop it or subject it to strong shocks. The rear connector that connects the main unit and the control panel is an extremely important part. Be careful not to damage it by pressing on it with fingernails, pens, screwdrivers, etc.

  If the control panel is dirty, wipe off the 

dirt with soft, dry cloth only. And use a cotton swab soaked in isopropyl alcohol to clean the socket on the back of the control panel.

Anti-theft system

The front panel of this unit can be stored in 

the included protective case when not in used and carried away when you leave the vehicle to deter theft.

Switch off the power of the unit. Detach the 

front panel, then put it to the protective case and take it with you.
